ABOUT OUR SHOW
The Lake Odessa Area Arts Commission invites artists and artisans to apply to our annual one-day fine arts and crafts festival.
Lake Odessa is conveniently located midway between Lansing and Grand Rapids, MI, on the shores of beautiful Jordan Lake.
Celebrating its 44th year in 2018, Art in the Park takes place on the grounds of Lake Odessa's shady and picturesque Village Park, while the annual Lake Odessa Car Show is held just a few blocks away in the downtown business district. Our show features 70+ unique fine art and craft booths, food booths, a children's craft area, and live musical entertainment. Attendance is free.
Exhibitors who've been accepted into our show are offered a $20 rebate if they refer a new exhibitor. If the “New” referral is accepted, and is either brand new to our show or did not exhibit in 2017, the referring exhibitor will receive a $20 rebate (up to a maximum of $60).
Applications to Art in the Park are juried for acceptance to ensure the quality of the entries and to maintain a varied selection of arts and crafts. It is the goal of LOAAC to give artists a positive experience while participating in our show.
The ParkPrize! Competition will return for a fourth year, and is open to all artists and artisans who have applied and paid their booth fee. Following the jury process and acceptance into the show, artists and artisans will be invited to apply and may enter one piece of artwork or craftsmanship for a chance to win one of two awards: the $500 Artists Award or the $500 Crafter's Award.
The deadline to submit ParkPrize! applications is June 15, 2018. Click HERE to download the ParkPrize rules and application.
We hope you will enjoy your time with us as we work to make Art in the Park one of the premier shows in Michigan!
